Patricia Ann Samul

Patricia Ann Samul, 82, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2017.  Born, December 15, 1934 in Detroit Michigan, to Frank and Louise Samul.  Pat was a beautiful light that touched many lives with her kindness and selfless love.  She brought tremendous joy to everyone she came in contact with.  Her warm smile and beautiful laugh could fill a room.  Whenever an ear or shoulder was needed, Pat was quick to offer one.  Pat was active in the Peace Movement, and was always fighting for others who didn’t have a voice.  Pat was a true intellectual and greatly enjoyed spirited philosophical, theological and political discussions.

Patricia is survived by her brother Frank Samul, Dearborn, Michigan; brother James Samul; sister Lucille Hualde, Salt Lake City; nephew, Roman Samul and nieces Petrina Youhan, and Immaculata Ojeda.  

Catholic services will be celebrated Friday, August 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., St. Joseph’s Villa, 451 Bishop Federal Ln.  A memorial reception will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., at 660 South 300 East, where all are invited to share loving memories of Pat.  Online guestbook available at www.russonmortuary.com
