Patricia JoAnn Denton

Patricia JoAnn Denton left this world with stubborn grace on February 14th, 2017. She was brave and fiercely courageous. She lived a wholehearted life devoted to her family and friends. She always fought for the underdog and her endless kindness touched not only her family, but the world around her. She was an elegant and grand lady; two adjectives that suited her perfectly. When you encountered this woman, you felt nothing but acceptance, love, and a level of feistiness that made you laugh out loud. 

She was born and raised on a farm in Hawkins Basin, Idaho. She was the second of six children. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Neva Denton; brother, William, and sisters Trudy, Dawna May, and Jennie.  She is survived by her devoted children, Vicki Pasqua (Dino), Desmond Perkins, and Nicole Wall (Stan), sister Gayle, sister in law Rene Denton and three nieces and five nephews. She surrounded herself with the loves of her life, 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She loved and individually adored each one of them. She was filled with awe as she watched them grow and discover the world through their eyes.

She was a faithful member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and set an impeccable example of integrity, light, generosity, service, and love.  

This amazing woman had many favorites – meat and potatoes, gardening, running in her younger years, Fox News, movies, lunch out, tapioca pudding, service to others, playing the piano by ear, making noodles on Thanksgiving, and melting once frozen hearts. You will be missed sweet mama. Please wait for us on the other side of the moon…we promise we will be there soon. 

In lieu of flowers spend a day in service, forgive, cheer for the underdog, open your heart and make amends, as life is short.

Private internment to be held at the Bountiful Cemetery.  

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 21st at 1:00pm at the Russon Brothers Mortuary located at 1941 North Main; Farmington, Utah.
