Patricia (Patty) Kathleen Jeys

Patricia (Patty) Kathleen Jeys passed peacefully in her North Salt Lake City home on Memorial Day, 2023. Born in Pensacola, Florida, to Thomas and Mary Jeys, her childhood was rich with travel; she never lost her enthusiasm to visit new places.

After settling with family in Loma, Colorado, she graduated from Fruita HS, and Mesa State College. She pursued a career in health care, eventually earning a Masters Degree as a Physician Assistant at the University of Utah Medical School. Her work included caring for patients with chronic pain and contributing to research, conference proceedings, and scholarly articles.

Patty was a devoted mother, raising four children and sharing with all her love of books, high standards, and emphasis on responsibility and education. In addition to career and family, she was an avid textile artist, and member and officer of the Salt Lake City Knitters Guild. Her love of fabric and yarn translated into beautiful creations, often shared as gifts on birthdays and Christmas. Her children, family, and friends will always treasure these gifts.

Patty is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dennis Frank, her children Zephyr Frank, Regna Frank-Jones, Sophia Hudson, and Lena Frank, her grandchildren, Nolan Jones, Paulo Frank, Henri Jones, and Gabriela Frank, and her brother Thomas Jeys Jr.
