Patsy Carol Wager

Patsy Carol Latturner Wager passed away on March 11, 2025, at Welcome Home Assisted Living & Memory Care in Bountiful, Utah at the age of 82.

Patsy Carol Latturner was born on October 15, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Bernard A. Latturner and Carol Latturner. She was the second born of three children. Patsy excelled at playing sports and spending time with her grandmother. She attended West High School where she met George L. Wager, her husband of 67 years. They lived in North Salt Lake City, Utah, where they raised their four children.

Patsy worked as a dietician for 23 years serving our war heroes at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City. Her strong work ethic earned her a promotion to supervisor. She also worked hard taking care of her family. She loved children and was tenderhearted towards animals. Her ability to relate to them was one of her many gifts. She was a devoted dog owner (Jesse)and took in several cats over the years. She was very intelligent and could talk to anyone on any subject.

Mom loved to read and had many interests, including gardening, crocheting, sewing and going to the movies. She also enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with her mother and husband along with scenic rides through the mountains enjoying the wildlife.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Francine “Susie” Carol Wager Whytock.

Survived by her husband, George Wager, North Salt Lake, UT; sister Sandra Hutchings, Dillion, MT; brother Buddy Latturner, Riverdale, UT; sons David Wager, Bountiful, UT; Mark Wager, Clinton, UT; Jody (Brandi) Wager, Farmington, UT; and her 7 grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers for their help through this difficult time.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 10:00-10:45 am at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.

A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at the Bountiful Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah.
