Paul G. Corbridge passed away Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the age of 86 at his home in Bountiful, Utah where he lived with Maurine, his wife of 64 years. Paul was born May 2, 1918 in Topaz, Idaho to Clarence F. and Florance Golightly Corbridge. He grew up in southeast Idaho where he graduated from Preston High School and attended Utah State University. Paul Corbridge married Maurine Price in 1940 in Soda Springs, Idaho, later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Paul and Maurine soon moved to Walnut Creek, California where they raised 3 sons and served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They served a mission for the church in the Walnut Creek Stake and later in the Ft. Lauderdale/Tampa, Florida mission. Paul worked in sales and later became a partner in an industrial supply business in San Francisco, California. In 1980 they retired to Bountiful, Utah to spend the rest of the their days serving Heavenly Father, their family and their fellow man. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Maurine; three sons, Stanley Susan, Bountiful, UT; Steven Patrice, Visalia, CA; and Michael Debra, Elverta, CA; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren that all loved him dearly. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 2, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Val Verda Stake Center, 2651 South 500 West, Bountiful, Utah. Friends may call Thursday evening 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday morning from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
