           1935 ~ 2016
Bountiful, UT —Paul Howard Egan, age 81 passed away at his home on November 10, 2016 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Paul was born to Horace Fredric Egan, Jr. and Elizabeth Simmons Willes on April 24, 1935 in Park City, Utah and was raised in Park City and Salt Lake City on Yale Avenue.  Paul graduated from East High School and attended the U. of U., where he was head cheerleader for a couple of years.
Paul served a mission to the Land of Finland for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Upon returning home he joined the Utah Air National Guard.  Paul retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1993.
Paul was married in the Salt Lake Temple to Iva Lee Duffin on October 12, 1959 and together they raised two wonderful children, John Bradley and Stephanie Lee.
Paul served in many callings in the LDS church.  Paul and his wife served together in the Chicago North Mission and were also temple workers in the Bountiful Temple.
Paul and his wife served as a volunteer at Lakeview Hospital for 20 years.  He was also a crossing guard for the City of Bountiful and found joy in helping the children keep safe from harm.
Paul is survived by his wife and children, and 5 grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Alicia, Weston and Zachary. Paul has 5 wonderful brothers and sisters. Betty Lorraine (deceased) Donna Colleen, Karl (deceased) Jerry, and his beloved twin sister Mary Pauline. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty, brother Karl and his father and mother-in-law Ivan and Eva Duffin.
The family wishes to thank all who have aided in his care during this trying time, especially his friends at Rocky Mountain Hospice; Selene, Lorie, Jake and Sarah.
A Viewing will be held Sunday, November 13 at Russon Brothers funeral home, 295 No. Main St. Bountiful Utah.  from 6 to 8 p.m.. Monday, November 14, a second Viewing will be held from 11:45 to 12:45 followed by the Funeral Services at 1 pm at the Bountiful 26th ward, 200 N and 200 W, Bountiful, Utah. Followed by Interment Services at Lakeview Memorial Estates 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah (Lakeview Cemetery).
