Paul Fanz Karl Gotthold Meyer was born on 20 October 1948 in Hoxter, Germany. Along with his native German language he spoke 2 other languages fluently. He graduated from high school and attended Muenster University in northern Germany where he got his degree to teach English.
He met his wife, June Viola Radabaugh Tolman, in Germany where they were married. They had been married for 39 wonderful years. Paul loved watching soccer, tennis and ice hockey in his free time. He was a big soccer fan as well. Paul also loved country music like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. His favorite television programs were CNN sports and FUBO. He lived a very active lifestyle running, skiing, going to the recreational center and playing tennis. Paul kept his mind active by playing brain games. He also enjoyed playing bingo.
Paul is survived by his wife, June, 4 step-children, 13 step-grandchildren, 14 step-great-grand-children and 2 step-great, great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Meyer, mother Lotter Oels Meyer, stepson Chad Tolman, and step grandson Yoshinori Suzuki. The family would like to thank the staff at Quail Creek Care Center in Ogden, Utah and Peaks Memory Care Center in Clinton, Utah, where he passed from this life, on 21 December 2024. We would like to thank Russon Mortuary for the care and attention given to Paul.
