Paul Wood

Paul Wood of Farmington, Utah passed away on September 14, 2023. He was 88. He was born on August 14, 1935, to Iva & Clifton Wood and the youngest of four children.

He was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He also served a mission to the Northwestern States.

He also served in the Army during the Korean War.

He was a great husband, father, brother, and grandfather.

He married his love, Carolyn George on September 9, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. Him and Carolyn had six children and taught us all how to work and to earn the money we need to get what we wanted.

Paul is survived by Shelly Wood (daughter), Clark (Lilibeth) Wood (son), four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn; children April Wood, Eric Wood, Rachel Kagie, and Paula Wood; granddaughter Kimberly Wood; Brother Don Wood; Sisters Larue Francis and Carol Jardine.

There will be a viewing Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Russon Mortuary & Crematory located at 1941 North Main Street in Farmington, Utah from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Farmington Rock Chapel located at 272 North Main Street in Farmington, Utah. There will be a viewing just before the services from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the church.

The services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary & Crematory Facebook Page and this obituary as well. The livestream will begin 10 – 15 minutes before the service and will be posted below.
