Paula Ann Neiderheiser Farrell

July 23, 1938 — March 6, 2025

Kaysville, Utah

Paula was born in Ogden Utah on July 23, 1938, to Paul and Rachel Neiderheiser. Two years later, her cherished sister, Gail, was born. They were best friends forever.

She attended Ogden High school and graduated from Weber State College. On February 20, 1958, she married Donald Robert Farrell at the First Presbyterian Church in Ogden, Utah. Together, they welcomed their children, David, Christine, and Teresa into their family.

Paula was very active in her community. She was a cub scout leader and Sunday school teacher at the Bountiful Community Church in Bountiful, UT. Paula belonged to the Order of Eastern Star and was a Worthy Matron 4 times in 3 states. She served on the Council at Vasa Lutheran Church in Vasa, Minnesota and at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pocatello, Idaho. She was a friend to everyone and always made people feel welcome and included.

She loved gardening, sewing and doing crafts. She was also Don’s business partner in Farrell’s Electronic Service.

She is survived by her children, David (Brenda) Farrell, Christine (Mike) Nelson, and Teresa Miller, her siblings, Gail DeWall, Glen Farrell, Sally Dick (Joe), Lubov (Gary) Farrell, Yvonne Berger (Bob), Lynda Bland (Tom), six Grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren and many extended families in Utah, Idaho, Minnesota, Oregon, and Ohio; all whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband Don, siblings, Jim DeWall, Gary Farrell, Jay Nelson, Linda Nelson, Karen Farrell, and son-in-law, Curtis Miller.

Services will be held on 10 am on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Russon Mortuary, 1941 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah. Following the memorial, a graveside service will be performed by The Order of the Eastern Star at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, Utah.

The memorial service will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary Live Facebook page and on this obituary page, where it will appear 10-15 minutes prior to the service at 10 am.

Thanks to all the CNAs at Whispering Cove who took care of her. Your love and care for her are so appreciated. Special thanks to Landon, her Hospice PA, who was not only caring to her, but kind and helpful to Paula’s family.

As we celebrate her life, we are joyous knowing that she and Don are together once again.
