Pearl Hope, daughter of Sean Muir and Shylo Bushey, was nothing more than a simply, beautiful surprise. Though her time was short, only living from 11:52 p.m. to 2:04 a.m., she peacefully went to sleep. All of the moments of Pearl were loving, to be loved and showing love. The first thing Pearl showed was her strength, defying the odds. She lived 2 hours instead of the minutes the doctors said. Her legs started to kick with surprising strength, but half way through the delivery, she did stop to get a helpful push from Mom.
The angels of nurses and doctors quickly cleaned Pearl and placed her on her mother’s chest. Instantly two hearts intertwined and Pearl felt a wave of peace and warmth. The father already had many tears in his eyes from the overwhelming happiness, yet sadness. He felt Pearl’s little heart beating and told her that he loved her. She wiggled at his voice. They wrapped her in a blanket as she started to fade. From the grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, tears and love were flowing. Pearl took her last breath in her mother’s arms. She only knew unconditional love. Her family knows that they will see her again.
