Pearl Stewart Tolman passed away peacefully on February 18, 2015 at the age of 97. She was surrounded by loved ones at her bedside.
She was born June 11, 1917 in Alamo, Nevada, the daughter of Raymond and Ruth Paris Stewart. She was 5th in a family of 12 children. She and her sweetheart, Harold Joseph Tolman, were married on June 8, 1937 in the St. George LDS Temple. Harold died August 31, 2009.
She treasured our family gatherings and Church service. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she served diligently in many capacities including leadership positions. Pearl and Harold served a full time mission in the Alabama Birmingham mission and served in the Boise temple for eight years. She contributed bounteous service to her family and many others throughout the years. She loved her flower garden, quilting, crocheting, sewing, needlework of all kinds and was an excellent cook. She was awarded honors at the county fairs for these talents.
Pearl is survived by daughter Lana (Harry) Wesche; grandsons Scott (Tresa), Todd (Janalee), Rick (Natalie), Michael (Celeste), Lance (Shantel), sisters Lillian Ammerman, Dorothy (Gerald) Bunker; 26 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.,Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Bountiful 53rd Ward, 1365 North 650 East. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and 1 hour prior to services.
