Philip Michael Weihofen

October 8, 1955 — May 17, 2018

My friend and wonderful husband has returned to his Heavenly Father. Philip was born in Chicago, IL. to Olga Frances and George Weihofen.
Survived by his loving wife, Barbara; brother: Raymond (Donna) Weihofen, Madison, WI., they have 3 children: Wayne, Wendy, Vickie (Bryan); Sister: Lynn (Gary) Wenzbauer, Farmington, UT., they have 4 children: David (Maria), Judi (Brad), Steve (Shelly), Michael (Emily).
Philip had primary progressive M.S., plus numerous infections from pressure sores.
Phil and I met in St. Mary’s Park, Ohio in 1972. Phil and his father moved to Utah in June of 1973. Phil had several jobs as a mechanic, buying Don’s Interstate on March 9, 1976, later named Phil’s Inter-state Towing, Inc. Phil and I were married on November 4, 1977. All the nieces and nephews have been so loving, giving, and willing to help. Thank you all so very much. I want to thank everyone who has helped me with taking care of Phil and for your love and support. You’re at peace now and now whole again, and you’re in good hands now, my dear. You will be missed and loved by all who knew you.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 1840 South 75 East, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
