Priscilla Price Wiser, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, peacefully passed away in the early hours of April 14, 2025 just in time to spend her 71st wedding anniversary with her eternal sweetheart Wendell Mark Wiser, whom she has missed since his passing five and a half years ago.
Priscilla was born to John Williams Price and Vera Millie Hughes Price on August 18, 1934 at her family's farmhouse in Pleasant View, Idaho. She was a devoted daughter and loved being her father's sidekick as she helped him with chores on the farm. She learned early on how to drive the tractor and care for the animals. When she had the time, she enjoyed playing basketball, softball and participating in barrel racing, where she was crowned rodeo queen. She attended Utah State University for one year and then moved to Salt Lake where she lived in the Beehive House and worked at the LDS church office building before going to work at the telephone company. Priscilla married her sweetheart, Wendell, on April 16, 1954 in the LDS Logan temple. Wendell's military service and career with NCR, took them to Germany and several different states throughout the U.S. before making their final home in Bountiful, Utah in 1977. They called Bountiful home and they resided in their home for 45 years. They built a beautiful life together and were married for 65 years before Wendell's passing in 2019. Priscilla was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints and spent her life serving in any way she could. She held many different callings but always found her way back to working with the children in Primary which she enjoyed the most. In 1997-98 Priscilla and Wendell fulfilled their lifetime dream of serving a church mission. They were called to serve in Columbus, Ohio and enjoyed their time working in the mission office. They later served in the Bountiful temple for over 15 years.
Priscilla is survived by: her six children, daughters; Wendelene Watts (Kevin), Susan Eaton, Lucilla (David) Bevan, Patricia (Steven) Williams, and sons; John (Liz) Wiser, and Bill (Lisi) Wiser; 20 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Shelba (Gary) Jensen all whom she served and loved for her entire 90 years of life. She is preceded in death by her eternal companion, Wendell Wiser; parents, John and Vera Price; sister, Jackilyn Neal; son-in-law, Robert Eaton; grandson-in-law, Stephen Schubert.
The family would like to express great appreciation to the staff at Legacy House in Farmington for the care, compassion, devotion and friendship they provided Priscilla, especially this past week, and also to the new friends she made while living at Legacy.
