Rachel Charity Torgerson

Rachel Charity Torgerson was called home to God on Monday morning November 26th.
She is the 4th of 7 children of Richard and Melanie Torgerson, born on July 3, 2010 in Pennsylvania and has lived in Utah, Pennsylvania and China.  Rachel was a happy, bright, and loving child, a gentle and sensitive girl, both affectionate and humble.  She was loved by all who met her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  She had recently been baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Utah, loved going to church and learning about the Gospel. Rachel enjoyed spending time with others, reading, going camping, celebrating birthdays and holidays, and enjoying time with her friends and family.  She tended naturally to quiet service, remembered to pray for others, and would often desire to visit the elderly. Rachel is survived by her parents, Richard and Melanie Torgerson as well as her siblings Karen (15), Jenny (12), Peter (10), Sam (6), Annika (4) and Jonas (2).
Funeral services will be held in Bountiful, UT on Saturday, December 29th 2018 at 11am at the Stake Center located at 1509 West 1500 South, Woods Cross, Utah.  The Torgerson family will receive friends and family beforehand from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.  Interment will immediately follow the funeral at the Lakeview Cemetery, 1640 E Lakeview Dr, Bountiful, UT.
