Rae Dean Mercer

Our dear sister, Rae Dean Mercer passed away peacefully at her home in Salt Lake City on October 10, 2017.  Rae Dean was born to Kay Lloyd Mercer and Elva Vivian Schulties Mercer in Salt Lake City on March 1, 1953.

She graduated from Viewmont High School in Bountiful, Utah in 1970.  Following high school she attended the University of Utah for two years.  After attending college she worked for a number of years at a print shop and later worked in a nursing home caring for the physically disabled.

Rae Dean is preceded in death by her parents Kay and Elva Mercer.  She is survived by her son, Gregory Mercer and her siblings, Ann (Roger) Bennett, Lynne (Patsy) Mercer, Paula (Barry) Godwin, Terry (Brook) Mercer, Vicki (Jerry) Shupe and Brian (Sao) Mercer.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
