Biography

Our loving dad, Bob Barber, passed away at his home June 3, 2013. He was born April 23, 1922
in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dominic and Jennie Madeline Barber. He graduated from West High School in 1940. Bob married the “Love of his life” Darlene L. Asher in Madison, Wisconsin on June 2, 1943. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 3, 1978. She passed away May 30, 2011.
Survived by daughters, Connie (Dan) Kirby, Judy (Gary) Hansen, Kathy (Wayne) Parry and Nancy Wolfe; 8 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter due in July; brother, William Barber; and sister, Elaine Kitterer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2013 in the Rose Park 1st Ward Chapel, 1152 West 800 North. Friends and family may call Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Monday morning 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com. In lieu of flowers, his daughter’s would appreciate donations be given to one of them for the Rose Park 1st Ward Sub for Santa.
