Ralph Andrew Lewis, 74, passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2012.
Born June 25, 1938 to Robert T. and Christie Rasmussen Lewis in Emery, Utah. Graduated from South Emery High School. Married his sweetheart, Peggy Peterson, November 29, 1958. Solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1964.
Ralph was well known for working hard. Even though he retired from truck driving, he was still actively working at Moss Industries.
He loved to be in the outdoors, especially playing in the dirt, whether it be at the farm, cabin, or building something new.
Ralph will be remembered as always willing to help others. He showed his love for others through service. He loved joking with his grandchildren. His great grandchildren always had a very special place in his heart, “they could do no wrong”.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy; and their three children, Patti (Hal) Coburn, Tamera (Steve) Martinson, and Steven (Anne) Lewis; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a special nephew, Randy Duffin; and a brother.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Ralph Lewis, parents, two sisters, a special sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8:45 – 9:45 a.m. prior to services.
