Ralph T. Argyle

WOODS CROSS-Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of (95) at his home in Woods Cross.
He was born February 9, 1921 in Woods Cross, Utah to William H. and Claira A. Argyle, he was the youngest of 7 children. He was the last remaining member of his family.
He fell in love with his high school sweetheart, Lucille Smith of Clearfield, Utah and they were married June 17, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for time and all eternity. They were the proud parents of five children: Brent (Judy), Dennis, Jerry (Janice), Shiree, Joan.
Dad is survived by his 5 children, 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, mother and father, 3 sisters, Jetta, Alice and Melva, 3 brothers, Floyd, Hazen and Frank, 2 daughters-in-law, Michelle and Judy.
Dad was a lifelong active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, faithfully serving in many positions including Bishop of his ward. He served many years in both the Salt Lake and Bountiful Temples. He also proudly served in his community as a City Councilman and Mayor of Woods Cross City, Utah. Dad was the owner/operator of the Ralph Argyle and Sons Dairy in Woods Cross. Upon retirement Mom and Dad had lots of loving memories at their home in St. George.
Dad was a great husband, father, and friend. He touched many lives and will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. We love you Dad!
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Woods Cross 9th Ward Chapel, 790 West 1500 South. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Tuesday morning 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
