Ramona Jones

Ramona Couturier Jones passed away July 13, 2011. She was born in a small house in Ogden, Utah November 17, 1917 to Vera and Richard Couturier. She attended high school in Ogden, Utah during these time she met the man she would share her life with. Ramona and Kenneth Jones were married in Norfolk, Virginia October 21, 1936. They made their home in Bountiful Utah and raised three children: William, Bob, and Vicki. Ramona volunteered as a pink lady at South Davis and Lakeview Hospital. She loved doing crossword puzzles. She also loved animals and had many pets throughout her life. Ramona is survived by her husband of 74 years Kenneth Jones; and children William Jones(Georgia), Bob Jones, Vicki French (Jessy Ibarra). Also survived by brother Richard Couturier; and two grandchildren Jennifer (Tony) Robinson, Joseph Ibarra (Jasper Pitchford); and nine great-grand children. Graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West. Friends may attend the graveside service. The family would like to thank Haven House and Coventry for their loving care they gave our mom.
