Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, & Friend Randy Jacobson, born to John Jacobson Sr. and Norma Jean Jacobson, died peacefully at home on Thursday, January 23rd at the age of 67; undoubtably now back in his mother’s loving arms.
Bountiful local, Randy was loved by not just his family, but by his co-workers, friends and neighbors.
Randy worked as a truck driver for Albertson’s for fifty-one years, until his retirement in 2024. To say he enjoyed his work would be an understatement. Though he didn’t get to enjoy his retirement for long, he lived a full life filled with baseball, golf, and classic cars.
Randy loved the outdoors. When he wasn’t driving, he was often found at home in his yard or firing up the grill for a family BBQ. However, Randy's passions would often take him off to buggy through the dunes or camp near lakes and rivers where he could catch enough fish to fill his freezer and the neighbors.
As of late, Randy slowed down a bit and spent his last years taking care of his father and enjoying their time reminiscing on Dad’s front porch.Rest easy, Brother.
Those of you who wish to send flowers, the family kindly requests you send them to Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.
