Randy Wilson Burningham

November 3, 1949 — June 3, 2017

Our loving husband, father, and grandpa, Randy Wilson Burningham, passed away on June 3rd 2017. 

He was born November 3rd 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wilson Garrett Burningham and Ella Jean Burningham.

Randy married Wendee Pickett and was sealed in the Logan, UT temple on December 6th 1973.

Randy and Wendee lived in Centerville, where they raised their family.   They had four children, Trish, Bret, Scott and Amie.

Randy was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many positions in his ward and stake.  He  loved the gospel, his family and teaching.

Randy worked in the Heating and Air Conditioning profession, spending most of his career at CCI Mechanical.  He loved helping family and friends working on home related projects.

Randy enjoyed a number of outdoor activities.  He loved Fly Fishing, camping and four wheeling.  He loved going to his cabin in Oakley, Utah.  He simply loved sitting on the deck and looking at the scenery.  He loved old music played on his record player.  His grandchildren were his greatest joy in this life.

Survived by his wife, Wendee Burningham; daughter Trish (Drew) Ovard; son, Bret (Marci) Burningham; son, Scott (Erinn) Burningham, daughter, Amie (Andy) Black and his 12 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wilson and Ella Jean Burningham.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday June 7th at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main St, Bountiful, UT 84010 where family and friends may visit from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  Funeral services will be Thursday June 8th at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9:30 – 10:45 am at the Centerville Canyon View Ward Chapel, 210 E. 1825 N, Centerville, UT 84014.  Interment will be at the Centerville Cemetery.
