Our dad, grandfather, bother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 91 in Bountiful, Utah, on Friday, October 7, 2016 of causes incident to age.

He was born in Myton, Utah, the son of Raymond LeRoy Rasmussen and Beatrice Ellen Dimmock. He grew up in Park City and the Swede Town area of Salt Lake City. He attended West High School. He married Cora Lucille Porter on February 12, 1944 in Salt Lake City. They had two sons, Ronnie and Mark. He worked for Slim Olson’s as a fuel transport driver and later for Amoco Oil Company.

He is survived by his son Mark (Lynne) and brother Ben (Margaret), nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cora, son Ronnie, brothers Les and Harry and sister Alice.

Gravesides services will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 14, 2016 at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Viewing will be held from 1:00-1:45 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah.
