Raymond Dibble Roberts, 92, passed away December 17, 2013, incident to age and congestive heart failure.
Raymond was born April 26, 1921 in Centerville, Utah, to Harold Dibble and Florence Campbell Roberts.
He graduated from Davis High School. He worked on a survey crew as a youth, also at Cudahy Packing Plant as a shipping clerk. On February 7, 1942 he married the love of his life, Dorothy Dearden (Toots), and their honeymoon was interrupted as he served in World War II in the 812th Medical Air Evacuation Squadron. The rest of his life was spent as a salesman selling magazines, real estate, roofing, and siding.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Terese (Clyde) Decker, and Ruth (Woodrow) Barlow, three brothers Paul, Bernard (Vilate), and Douglas (Marie). He is survived by his younger brother Richard (Colleen) of Ogden, Utah, son Scott (Faye), and three grandsons, Chad, Barry (Heather), and Micah (Melinda), one great granddaughter, and four great grandsons.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21, at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah at 10:30 a.m. Friends and family are invited to a viewing from 9:00 to 10:20 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be at the Centerville City Cemetery.
