Reba Holladay, age 87, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012, in Ogden, Utah. She was born September 10, 1924 in Swainsboro, Georgia, the daughter of William Lawrence Truett and Tiny Eleanor Wiggins.
On November 15, 1947, Reba married Joe A. Holladay in Swainsboro, Georgia and together they proudly raised five children. She was a dedicated and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who passed along her love and taught her children the real meaning of life, hard work, integrity, and high values.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joe, and is survived by her daughters, Harriette Wells, Clara Bucci, Gloria Anderson, her sons John and Mark Holladay, her daughters-in-law Cindy and Judy Holladay, her loving and devoted son-in-law Stephen Anderson, 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Special thanks to Rhonda and Marie of Legacy Health Care for taking such loving and attentive care of our dear mother and grandmother and all the kind folks at the Aspen Care Center for making her last days the best that they could possibly be.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery in Bluffdale, Utah and she will be interred there alongside her husband Joe.
