Rebecca Meredith

Becky Treft Meredith returned home to her Father in Heaven on February 9^th, 2024, at the age of 44 after a long battle with cancer.  Becky was surrounded by her family and friends.  Becky is the daughter of Tim and Valori Treft.  She was born on the 24^th of July 1979 on her grandfather Fosters birthday. Becky grew up in Farmington, Utah and graduated from Viewmont High School.  After graduating, she was able to go on an art history tour to Europe. Her favorite city was Rome.

Becky married Adam Meredith on June 11^th, 1999, in the Bountiful Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She and Adam are the parents of four wonderful children.  Caleb, Zachary, Luke and Brinley.  

Becky loved to learn and had a great interest in medicine and decided to pursue nursing. She graduated with honors from Weber State in 2019 and later became EMT certified.  At the time of her death, Becky was a nurse at Ogden Regional Hospital.   Becky touched many lives with her sweet, serene manner.  She was loved by patients and nurses and many others at the hospital.

Becky was an artist.   She learned to paint in high school and has tried many other mediums with her artistic talent.  Her latest medium was wood burning creating beautiful scenes and quotes on wood pieces. 

Becky loved the outdoors, going hiking, camping, boating and being on the water. She loves animals and has a flock of chickens that she loved to watch and care for. 

Becky was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She served in many callings including Relief Society, Young Womens and Primary. 

Becky put a lot of living into her young life. Her first priority was always her husband and children.   She was a loyal friend and fun to be around.  She lit up any room she walked into.  She will be sorely missed by all who know her. 

Becky leaves behind her loving husband, Adam, her four children, Caleb, Zachary, Luke and Brinley, her parents, Tim and Valori Treft, her brothers Mike, Jeff (Maren), niece, Nora.   Her in-laws Mike and Julie Meredith and many brothers and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Her family members wish to thank the nursing staff at Ogden Regional Hospital for the excellent care Becky received.  

Services for Becky will be held at the Warren Ward, located at 856 North 5900 West, Ogden, Utah on February 16^th at 11:00 am with visiting from 9:00am to 10:45 am.   Interment will be at the Warren Cemetery.  Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com
