Renee Campbell Olson

Renee Campbell Olson, our loving Mother, returned into the waiting arms of our father, Lorrin H. Olson, and her daughter, Nancy on November 17, 2015.

Renee was born on July 21, 1929 in Preston, Idaho, the second of five children, to Oscar Campbell and Margaret Fifield.  She graduated from Westside High School, where she met her sweetheart, Lorrin.  They were married in the Logan LDS Temple on April 11, 1947.  Together they raised 4 children in Bountiful, Utah. 

Renee was an active member of the LDS Church, and faithfully served in many callings. She and Lorrin served a mission in Fresno, California.  She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother.  She was an accomplished seamstress, and was well known for her homemade chocolates. 

Renee is survived by her children; Janis (Larry) DuPaix, Brent (Karen) Olson, Sharon (David) Neilson, ten grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.  Also survived by brothers, Boyd, Roger, Paul, and sister, Patty Fisher. She is preceded by her husband, Lorrin, and daughter, Nancy.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Stonecreek Ward, 1476 N. 300 W., Bountiful.  Friends and family may visit on Sunday, November 22nd at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, from 6 – 8 p.m., and from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment at the Farmington City Cemetery.
