Richard Lawrence Jaeggi (Rooster) passed away Peacefully at his home on February 6, 2022, at the age of 64.
Richard L Jaeggi was born on December 24, 1957, in Hawthorn, CA to Richard F Jaeggi and Jennifer “Noni” Jacobs.
He attended school in Compton California, Irvine California and he survived the Watts riots.
He Joined the US Navy at age 19 where he proudly served. After which he Married his first wife at the age of 23 which gave them 3 Beautiful children that would be known as “The Jaeggi Boys”.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors and doing many outdoor activities. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved riding his bike. His dearest times were spent with his family and friends but most of all his grandchildren.
Richard was a lover of all people, he loved to share his stories and wisdom with everyone. He saw the beauty in everyone and everything, the ripple effects of his love have been impactful and will be everlasting.
He is preceded in death by His two Loving sons Keith W. Jaeggi and Baton Jaeggi.
Richard is Survived by his two sons, loving mother, two sisters and grandchildren: Derick Jaeggi (Kristy), Dillon Jaeggi (Sara), Jennifer Jacobs, Mallorie Jaeggi, Travis, Addisyn and Keith Jaeggi.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the Orchard 8th Ward Chapel, 55 East 350 North, North Salt Lake, Utah where a viewing will be held Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services.
The funeral will be conducted by Bishop Stone. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary & Crematory Facebook page and on this obituary page. The live stream will begin about 15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.
