Richard Merrill Farris

Richard Merrill Farris, 77, passed away February 7, 2018.  He was born October 29, 1940 in Glennsferry, Idaho.  He was the eldest son of Charles Richard Farris and Eva Courdahl Roholt Farris.  He married Sondra Lee Francom, May 19, 1967 in Kaysville and later solemnized in the Logan Temple.  They are the parents of four children and 17 grandchildren.  Richard Burton Farris (Jackie), Las Vegas, Nevada, Jason (Mechelle), of Roy, Bryan (Renee) of Pleasant Grove, Brett (April), of Woods Cross, Adrienne Empey (Blake), United Kingdom.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, and 17 grandchildren.  They have resided in Farmington for 42 years.  He is also survived by his brothers, Greg (Joan) of Pocatello, Weston (Joyce) of Boise, Charles of Ogden, a sister Angee of Ogden and sister-in-law Mary, of Blackfoot, Idaho.

A viewing will be Monday, February 12, 2018, from 6:00-8:00pm at Russon Mortuary in Farmington, 1941 N. Main Street.  Funeral services will be at 11:00am Tuesday, February 13 in the Farmington 19th Ward chapel with an additional viewing at 9:45 that day.  Interment will be at the Farmington City Cemetery.
