Colonel Richard William Dayhuff USMC
This man was, in order of importance to him:
A United States Marine.
Husband, lover, confidante to his bride.
Forgiving father.
His children could always use the car.
Man of God, who really tried.
Writer of good stuff.
Teacher. Poet. Rifleman, Boxer, Athlete.
He is now what God gave him;
the right to make of himself while he lived.
Go and do likewise.
That is an order.
