Richelle Whitehead, 42, died of a sudden, massive stroke which attacked her on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Preceded in death by her parents, Richelle was raised all her life in West Bountiful by her mother, Louise Pinky Reynolds Hansen. As Grandpa Reynolds said, they were two against the world. Richelle loved her sons above all else, AO 3rd Cl. Jeremy L. Bailey USN (22) and Dalton Todd Whitehead (17), and devoted her life to them. Attacked by breast cancer at age 26, when her boys were small, resulting in a mastectomy and aggressive treatment, she always said I just need to raise my boys. She is a true survivor and has done a great job raising fine young men who love her dearly. The hardest part of her passing was her strong heart that didnt want to let her go. Richelles other loves were Diet Pepsi, the Pittsburgh Steelers, her doggies (she wanted 12) and golfing with her love, Kelly Class, fianc. Left heartbroken at her passing are her boys, Jeremy and Dalton; her siblings and their spouses: Gale Hansen (Julie), Manor, TX.; Robbie (Elliott) Levine, SLC, UT; Steve (Connie) Hansen, Covington, LA.; Russ (Shelly) Hansen, Annabella, UT; and Kelly Class; also extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by nephew, Josh Amos and niece, April Gillespie. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where a visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be at a later date. To honor Richelle, please wear some survivor pink. In lieu of flowers, her boys would gratefully accept donations towards expenses.
