Riley Cutler, age 41, passed away unexpectedly May 22, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on June 22, 1979 to Sharon and C. Riley Cutler. He grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, graduated from East High, earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctorate from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He is survived by Lindsey and their son Asher Cutler, parents Riley and Sharon Cutler and siblings Malinda (Chris Williams), Sarah (Chris Mulkey), Parry (Chelsey), and Julia (Gray Petty). Riley played lacrosse for East High and the University of Utah and was always out practicing or passing the ball around with his siblings and son. When he wasn’t playing lacrosse, he could be found hiking, kayaking, playing the guitar, or challenging someone in a pull up contest. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Mexico City South mission and loved the people he served. He continued sharing his testimony throughout his life. He kept both Spanish and English scriptures close at hand. He was known for his artwork, sharing stories and making people laugh. He has joined his beloved grandmas and dog Bo.
The viewing will be held Monday, May 31, 2021 at the Bonneville Stake Center, 1535 East Bonneview Dr., Salt Lake City from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The graveside service will be held at the Salt Lake City Cemetery at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
