Rita Frampton

April 24, 1925 — December 19, 2014

Our dear mother and Oma passed away of natural causes at the home of her son, Randy. Rita was born in Hamburg, Germany on April 24, 1925 to Otto and Magdelan Fischer. At the end of World War II, she was drafted into the German Air Force where she served her country as a book keeper.

In 1952, Rita immigrated to Utah. She returned to Europe where she served in the Swiss Austria LDS Mission. In 1961, she married her sweetheart Morris J. Frampton in the Salt Lake Temple. She loved to work with numbers and had a career in book keeping for 30 years. She served in various callings in the LDS church, including 20 years of name extraction. She loved the Lord and would share her testimony to all that would listen.

She is survived by her son Randy (Jill), four grandchildren Tia (Nate), Whitney (Trenton), Heather, and Braydon, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, and husband.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 26th at Russon Brothers Mortuary (295 N. Main, Bountiful). A viewing will be held that same day beginning at 9:30 am. The family would like to thank Legacy House of Bountiful for the loving care they provided the last few years.
