Robert Andrew Kofford

Robert A. Kofford, age 67, passed away April 6, 2018 near Arlington Wyoming in an automobile rollover accident leaving his wife Kay (Evans) Kofford. Robert was born September 9, 1950 in Cherry Point, North Carolina to Robert L. Kofford and Donna Cherrie Kofford. As a Marine he served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was a two time recipient of the Purple Heart. He also served with the 19th Special Forces and earned the Green Beret. He retired from govt. service at Toolele Army Depot serving as a Captain of Security and Law enforcement. After 9-11, he went to Afghanistan to instruct Coalition Forces in Tracking. He was an avid hunter, scuba diver and private pilot.

Bob lived out his final years on a ranch in Baggs, Wyoming. He is survived by his two sisters Kolleen Fortner; (daughters Jen Hall, Shannon Bell and son Jessie Fortner) and Cherrie Pusatello (son Daymond Kofford and daughter Tiffany Pusatello), his son, James A. Kofford and daughters Michelle A. Kofford-McKechnie (son William McKechie), and Katlynn M. Kofford (son Aiden), and 6 grand-nieces and nephews and one step-sister Holly Evans Dietrich, and three step-brothers; Jason, Clay and Robert Evans.
