Robert Bruce Johnson

March 27, 1931 — July 31, 2015

Our loving husband, father, and grandfather, Robert Johnson passed away on July 31, 2015.  He was born March 27, 1931 in Springville, Utah to Zella Hardy and Athos Mose Johnson.  He graduated from Springville High and served four years in the National Guard. He married his sweetheart, JoAnne Fullmer, also from Springville, December 3, 1954 in the Manti Temple. He attended BYU, graduating in electronics and began work at Hill Air Force Base as an Electronics Technician, retiring in 1988. He and JoAnne moved to Kaysville in 1960, where they raised their four children.  He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings, including a mission with his wife in Salt Lake City in the Member Location Department.  He loved his family, fishing, camping, and hiking, sang with the Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus for 30 years, was an artist, an inventor of many devices and could build or repair anything.

Robert is survived by his wife, JoAnne; children: Jeffrey, Ronda (Larry) Page, Wesley (Jan), Michelle (Ron) Cobbley; his sister, JoAnna Fullmer; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Randall.

We wish to thank Chancellor Gardens and Rocky Mountain Hospice for their tender care in his final days.
