Robert Corlett

Robert Johnston Corlett, passed away Monday, April 11, 2005. Born 3 December 1914 in Seattle, WA., the second and last child of Bertram Edwin Corlett and Ethel Augusta Waddingham. Robert was known as Bob throughout his life. He completed school at the University of Washington as a Mechanical Engineer. He married Helen L. Baird in 1938 and raised two sons, Robert and William. His working career as a Mechanical, Marine and Nuclear Power Engineer with the U.S. Navy covered 31 years on the West Coast and in Hawaii. In 1974 he married Jessie Turnbow Buehler, and was introduced to the LDS Church. He received a fantastic testimony of Life?s purpose and was active in the LDS Church for his remaining years, serving two missions and pursuing genealogy with diligence. Also, he served on the Recommend Desk in the Salt Lake Temple for many years. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful Stone Creek Stake Center, 990 North 100 West, Bountiful, Utah where friends may call from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
