Robert passed away peacefully on April 14, 2013. He was born in Barnard, MO and enlisted in the Marine Corp December 11, 1942 and served until February of 1946. On March 5, 1954 he entered into marriage with the love of his life, Ramona Hahn. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1954. He often shared fond memories of driving truck for Hatchco Truck Lines until he was forced to retirement due to health problems. He was an uncle to few, a dad to many and a friend to everyone. He had a true love for life, and a passion for helping people. The light of his life and love will burn forever in the hearts of everyone he met. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona. Survived by his son, Eric Hager and family, Austin Texas; his nephew Michael O’Flynn and wife Tammy, Salt Lake City, Utah; Niece Monica Mock and husband Dale, Hernando , Mississippi, and Pat Akin, Dyke, Iowa. A special thanks to Garden Terrace Care Center for the great care they provided. Friends may call on Wednesday April 17, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, Salt Lake City.
