Robert Hancey

Robert Hancey was born February 17, 1939 and passed away September 3, 2017.   Robert was preceded in death by his parents Denzil and Delta Hancey and brothers K Hancey and Lindy Hancey.  Robert is survived by his siblings Neil Hancey, Shirley Scoffield, Rex Hancey, Larry Hancey, Cheri Jorgensen, Jill Abegglen, Leslie Anderson and Janis Hancey. Robert is also survived by his son Bruce Robert Hancey.  Robert lived in Davis County, Utah, graduated from Bountiful High School and retired from Northrop Grumman.  To his family, Robert was a caring and fun loving brother. To his friends he was the man on the golf course they admired and tried to emulate.  To me, he was my father, travel buddy, dog sitter, handyman….he was my best friend. Robert will be greatly missed by many. His family and friends surrounded him with companionship and love in his final days.   
We know that he passed in peace and with the comforting thoughts that he was loved.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robert's memory to the Hunstman Cancer Institute at   https://donate.huntsmancancer.org/give
