Biography

Robert (Bob) Foster Kinney, 63, of Bountiful, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2012. He was born on November 18, 1948 in Phillipsburg, NJ, the only child of the late Irene and William Kinney, formerly of Mesa, AZ.
Growing up in NJ, Bob joined the Boy Scouts of America and became an Eagle Scout prior to graduating from high school. He graduated from Montclair State University in NJ and moved to Utah soon afterwards.
Bob was the President of Bike2Bike, a nonprofit company devoted to cycling, exercise and enjoying the outdoors. Each event that Bike2Bike held supported a charitable cause. Bob was passionate about cycling and he made many friends over the past years.
Bob is survived by his aunts, Irene Mueller of Mesa, AZ, Ruth Kinney of Wilson, NC, and Betty Moore of Frenchtown, NJ. He is also survived by his step children and numerous cousins. Bob will be deeply missed by his family and associates.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Bountiful LDS Chapel, 3707 South 800 West. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
