Robert Lawrence Hudson

December 10, 1960 — July 26, 2015

Robert Lawrence Hudson Jr. passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015.  He was born at Landstuhl Army Hospital in Germany on December 10, 1960 to Robert Lawrence Hudson Sr. and Elaine Holbrook Hudson. He was able to travel with his parents because of his fathers military duties to Portland, Or; Tacoma, WA; RAF Wethersfield, England; George AFB, CA; Great Falls, MT; and finally to Bountiful, UT. He graduated from Viewmont High School, Bountiful, Utah class of 1979.  He served in the United States Army from 1985 to 1992 where he met many wonderful people he has continued to call friends.  He was a member of the Pershing Missile Crew from 1985 to 1989 where he was stationed at Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany and Lawton, Oklahoma.  He then was assigned to White Sands, New Mexico and served as a member of the Military Police 1990 to 1992. He attended Weber State University, Ogden, Utah where he studied the field of  Diesel/Industrial Mechanics and worked for Crete Carrier Corporation from 2001-2014.  He was currently employed with Savannah Transport, Topeka, Kansas.

Robert loved "vaping" and if  you followed him on Facebook you knew this was indeed a passionate part of his life.  He enjoyed meeting people and considered those he met friends.  Robert always had a mischievous grin on his face and big, kind heart for those that he met.  His most-prized possession was his daughter, Ashley.  He loved talking about her and posting pictures with her on his Facebook page she was the love of his life.  

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert Lawrence Hudson Sr. and Elaine Holbrook Hudson, and brother David Wayne Hudson He is survived by his daughter Ashley and sister Gail (Ken), two nieces and one nephew.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 31st  at 2:30 pm at the Lakeview Cemetery in Bountiful.
