Robert John Penman On the Road Again Robert John Penman, 91, passed away at his home, on Monday, April 4, 2005, in South Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born April 26, 1913, in Park City, Utah to Hildred Ethel Boulton and John Albert Penman. Married Winnifred Eschler on March 20, 1937, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mom passed away on January 6, 2005. Dad was a truck driver for many many years; beginning when he learned to drive a team of horses as a boy. He would share with anyone his love for gardening, care of animals, and wisdom beyond explanation. Dad greatly missed his sweetheart and mentioned it daily. He is survived by sister, Hildred Hastings; brother, Delbert Bonnie; step-daughter, Marlene Sheldon Johnson; children, David Robert June, John Winston Gloria Jean, Patricia Louise Riet, Judith Ann Kenneth Black; grandchildren, Wendy Rammell, Michael Johnson, Minde Russ Mower, Lynan Graf, Sean Raquel, Robert John, Cori Mark Rackley, Michelle Bob Besmehn, John Travis, Raelene Larry Eppard, Angela Mike Abbott, Raelene and Angela grew up in their home, Elizabeth Kurt Curtiss, Jacqueline Black; 21great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, sons Fredric Eschler and Joseph Raymond, grandchildren David and Raena. The family wishes to thank Angel and Mike for the many years of unselfish service they have rendered to Mom and to Dad. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2005, 11:00 a.m., at Central Park Ward, 304 East 2700 South, where friends may call Friday evening 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
