Robin Pedersen

Robin A. Peterson Pedersen, 58, of Centerville, UT, quietly passed away at home surrounded by her family on August 16, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is beloved by her husband, James Douglas Pedersen; her children: Cameron (Stephanie) Pedersen, Lindsay Pedersen, Brynn (Matthew) Clinger, Dallin (Catherine) Pedersen, Carly (Joshua) Porter, and Spencer Pedersen; her precious grandchildren: Zackery, Coleman, Samantha, Riley, Jake, Eston, Maren, Christine, Logan, Lucy, Emma, Hudson, and Andrew; her parents, H. Burke and Brookie Cardon Peterson; her sisters: Gayle (William) Steele, (deceased) Sherrie (Roger) Decker, Jana (Mark) Staples, and Keri (Bruce) Nielsen; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Robin was born in Phoenix, AZ on February 11, 1954 as the third of five daughters, affectionately referred to by their father as the Five Lovelies. She brought an atmosphere of energetic happiness with her cartwheels and dancing and spread that joy to those around her. Filled with a deep love of her Savior, Robin built her life around living the gospel and giving loving compassion and endless charity to her family, friends and neighbors. She was quick to laugh, slow to judge, and likely to be found improving whatever situation she was in. She gave her six children loving, individual care and made each of them feel like they were her favorite. Robin walked hand-in-hand with her dear husband and never were two best friends more in love. While sometimes limited physically, her charity toward others was limitless.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 20, at 11am at the Canyon View Stake Center, 2110 N Main St, Centerville, UT. Viewings will be held on Sunday, Aug. 19, from 6-8pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N Main St, Bountiful, UT, and Monday, Aug. 20, from 9:30-10:45am at the Canyon View Stake Center shortly before the funeral. Interment will immediately follow at the Centerville City Cemetery.
