Roger Wright Shreeve "Rog"

May 11, 1936 — March 18, 2015

On May 11, 1936 a beautiful black haired, blue eyed baby boy was born to Caleb A. Sr. and Leone Blanche Wright Shreeve in Ogden, Utah. Roger joined his brother Caleb A. Jr. and sister Geraldine (Geri).

He lived the majority of his life in Ogden retiring from the Fox Theaters where he had worked for forty years. Those who worked with Roger had the highest regard for his positive, delightful attitude towards his dependability to accept his responsibilities. He was very people oriented, as he knew no stranger and was a friend to all. He loved his co-workers and the theater business. He was most happy while working there as all his co-workers, over the years, stated how they loved him too.

Roger loved to travel and was a member of the Ogden Nite Cappers Club and the Mount Ogden Movie Makers. He had been awarded trophies for his beautiful Utah sunsets pictures.

He was a member of the LDS Church and former member of the Ogden 33rd Ward, where he served as a ward missionary. At the time of his death he was a resident of North Canyon Care Center and a member of the Orchard Branch in Bountiful, Utah. Roger had previously lived at the Apple Tree Assisted Living Center, Kaysville, Utah. He absolutely loved everyone for the loving care he received at both centers. We, as a family, thank them too, for the love given to Roger.

This inspiring, warm, good natured man, without guile, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Caleb. He is survived by his sister, Geraldine (Geri), many nieces and nephews and extended family who loved and respected him. They all will miss this gentle man, but their fond memories of him will always be carried in their hearts.

A memorial service of Roger’s life will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington, Utah, Saturday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m., a visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the services.

Roger will be buried next to his parents in the Ogden City Cemetery.
