Ronald George Holferty

On April 1, 2018 Ron succumbed to Esophageal Cancer and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. 

After serving in the Marine Corps., he worked as a Conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad until he retired in 2000. He is our cherished grandfather, father, friend and hero. Our hearts are heavy with such a great loss but we are fulfilled by the unconditional love he freely gave us. The true gift of his life was his family. He was an example of strength, patience, kindness and love to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen, son Lance, best friend and mother of two of his children JoAnn Holferty.  He is survived by his children; Ryan Holferty and Chauntel Bolen and grandchildren; Freya, Cooper, Ava, Delilah, Destry and Stella who will always love him dearly.
