On Dec. 1, after a battle with pneumonia and a heart attack, Ron Jr. left us for a happy reunion with his brothers and grand parents. Gentle, forgiving and strong, Ron was a talented auto painter and mechanic. He’ll be missed by many friends and his large family. Ron was loved and touched many lives. In spite of all his trials, he never burdened others with them; he often went out of his way to help people. Last month he helped a stranger being assaulted and was seriously injured in the process. No matter the situation his sharp wit and positive attitude seemed to turn things around. In the end, he taught us more about forgiving than we knew. Ron lived a tough, poor, humble life but he did it with a smile. The toughest guy we knew always had a great sense of humor.
