Rose Marie Burnsed was born to Edward and Rose Burnsed at Mt. Home AFB Idaho on 8 July 1956.  She was a premature baby that weighed only 2 pounds at birth.  She was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise Idaho and placed in an incubator for 2 ½ months. Marie grew up in Grandview Idaho and graduated from Mt. Home Highschool in 1974.  Marie married Bob Knipple in 1975 and they had a baby girl named Christina in Feb. 1976.  Christina ended up dying from crib death in May of 1976.  Marie and Bob were divorced in 1977.  Marie moved to Utah in 1983 to be near her sister and brother.

Marie had two children Alecia and Kyle.  Marie moved back to Idaho in April of 2016 and lived in Glen’s Ferry until her passing on 2 Feb 2021.  Marie loved birds and had several as pets throughout her life.  She loved the outdoors and loved fishing and camping. Her favorite color was purple, she loved the Rock group “The Monkees” and the pop singer, Cher, who she got to see in concert in Salt Lake with her sister and niece.  Marie was a very friendly person and enjoyed visiting with people.

She is survived by her older sister Brenda Pederson, a daughter Alecia Jones, a son, Kyle Lund, and granddaughters Prestina Rusmussen and Tori Lund.  She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Rose Burnsed and her brother Ed Burnsed.

Marie will be deeply missed by family and friends.
