Rosemary Helen Pannell

June 4, 1935 — September 16, 2015

Rosemary Helen Pannell, our sweet mom, Nana, and sister passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 16, 2015 in Eden, Utah.  She was diagnosed in July with an aggressive form of lymphoma cancer, and spent the remainder of her time enjoying family and friends.  Nana was born on June 4, 1935 in Alexandria, South Dakota to Jack and Phyllis Maytum.  She was married and later divorced.  During her marriage she had three children, Tim, Robin, and Stacey.

She worked for the LDS church for over 25 years.  Nana enjoyed listening to piano music, bird watching with her brother Terry, and loved working in her yard.  She was an avid do-it yourselfer.  Her biggest project was helping build the family cabin with her daughter and son-in-law.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in numerous leadership positions.  Nana was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Paul, Mick, and David and daughter, Robin.  She is survived by her children Tim (Kim) Pannell, Stacey (Blair) Bowman, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her brothers Terry and Rich (JoAnn) Maytum, as well as other family and many friends.

A viewing will be held Monday, September 21, 2015 from 6 – 8 pm at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N Main, Bountiful, Utah.   Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11:00 am with a viewing from 9:45 – 10:45 am at the Huntsville Stake Center, 6500 E 1900 N Eden, Utah.

In our beloved Nana’s words, “If you’re reading this, I’ve croaked and gone.”
