Rosemary Louise (Peavey) Hepler, 81, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, at her home in Farmington, UT.
Born in Bangor, ME, to Charles and Louise (Stratton) Peavey, Rosemary grew up in Bangor and graduated from John Bapst Memorial High School in 1961. She met the love of her life, Keith Hepler, while he was stationed at Dow Air Force Base in Bangor. They married in 1962, building a life together centered around family, love, and adventure.
Rosemary had a lifelong thirst for knowledge, delighting in reading and researching topics that fascinated her. She loved sharing and debating her findings with family and friends. She also had a passion for travel and cherished moments spent with her loved ones. Rosemary was known for her generosity, always eager to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her quick wit, infectious personality, and kind heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her. A devoted animal lover, Rosemary supported the ASPCA for many years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Juliet (Peavey) Parent and Priscilla Peavey.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Keith G. Hepler Sr.; her sons, Keith (Heidi) Hepler, Kenneth (Boni) Hepler, and Eric (Lisa) Hepler; her brothers, Laurence (Sharon) Peavey and David (Laura) Peavey; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
In honor of Rosemary’s memory, donations may be made to the ASPCA, reflecting her lifelong love of animals.
Rosemary’s remarkable legacy of love, humor, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
