Biography

Roy Alvin Love
1934~2014

Roy A. Love passed away July 31, 2014 following minor surgery. Born Aug. 26, 1934 to Earl
and Pearl Love on the family ranch in Ennis, Montana; the place he called “home”. The cowboy loved to hunt, fish, rodeo and his horses.
Roy married his high school sweetheart Sharlene Wootton on May 22, 1954 in Bozeman, Montana. They spent 60 wonderful years together raising two children, Rich Love (Cindy) and Shirley Harper (Scott).
Roy and Sharlene moved to Bountiful, Utah in 1959 and then settled in Farmington where they made many life-long friends and ran a successful home building business. Roy took pride in his work and worked hard to provide for his family.
No one loved his family more than dad. He had a special gift and way with children. Dad was so proud of his kids and grandkids.
Survived by his wife of 60 years, his two children, nine grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, and sister Jesse Clark. Preceded in death by his parents, one brother Earl Love and wife Carole, sister Zada Haukup and husband Ward, brother-in-laws Jay Wootton and Bob Clark.
Due to Grandpas love of children the family requests donations be made to Primary Childrens Hospital in lieu of flowers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 5:30 p.m at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. prior to the services.
