West Bountiful- Ruby Harris Evans passed away peacefully Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Bountiful, Utah. Born in Orem, Utah on October 28, 1937 to Seldon and Alice Harris. Graduated from Pleasant Grove High School, Seminary, and Henagers Business College. Worked for Davis County Clipper for 37 years, which she truly enjoyed and has missed since retiring.
Married her best friend Charles S Evans, Jr. who preceded her in death after 43 years of marriage. He broke our contract, I was to go first. Well have a little chat about that.
Survived by three children, Debra (Al) Smith, Charles Chuck (Robin) Evans, and Dee (Trish) Evans; 14 loving and caring grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald and Lloyd Harris of Bountiful, and sister, Lucille Taylor. Preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; father, Seldon Harris; mother, Alice Williamson Harris; and grandson, Joshua Gallegos.
Ruby was a member of the LDS Church, the DUP and enjoyed her many callings..
Thanks to all my friends and Charlies family for the memories. I have alot of stories to tell Grandpa Charlie when I see him. Perhaps he will have a joke for me.
Im sure Grandpa Charlie, Dad and grandson, Joshua have been working on some new jokes.
