Russell Paul Roesler

January 16, 1970 — February 23, 2020

Russell Paul Roesler lost his battle with cancer peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family and loved ones February 23, 2020.
Russ was born in Lincoln and raised in Ceresco Nebraska, he graduated from Raymond Central High School in 1988. He served in the Army and over Seas during Operation Desert Storm. After his service he moved to Utah, to continue his education where he met the love of his life, Soraya.
Russ was well known for his sarcastic sense of humor and had the ability to make people laugh. He loved his children and was so proud of all their accomplishments. Russ was a loving father, husband and friend to everyone.
Russ is survived by his wife, Soraya, of 23 years; sons Sebastian and Benjamin; daughter Mía; parents Adolph and Audrey; sister Tina Copsey; brother in-law Ryan Copsey; nephew Baden; niece Chloe; and mother in-law Olimpia Alvarez. He was a true warrior who taught his children to be strong and live life to fullest potential no matter what adversity they face in life.
He will be missed by all and will live in our hearts forever. We will be joined for eternity.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Sandy Utah Crescent North Stake Center, 1050 East 10600 South, Sandy, where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again Monday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
